Selling or buying a home is a deeply personal and complex process. I have been in your shoes. I’ve bought and sold property both in Chicago and Denver. I have remodeled kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. I’ve pulled carpeting and what seemed like ten-thousand little tacks. I’ve ground out cracked concrete and built a porch. Much of it I did alone. Some of it with contractors with whom I worked closely. I know what I can and can’t do as it relates to upgrading and maintaining a home. I draw the line at cutting into a joist.
